]]> http://sociologicalimagination.org/archives/3556/comment-page-1#comment-487 Thu, 17 Feb 2011 14:11:50 +0000 http://sociologicalimagination.org/?p=3556#comment-487 Very interesting; my stream finked out partway through, so I will continue later…In a sense, cognitive enhancement seems to me to be the most valid use of psychopharmaceuticals, because that decision to use comes utterly of the individual's free desire.  The individual is not considered to be a patient, is not pathologized, and is not forced to take.  Perhaps we should shift our discourse around pharma away from pathology and towards enhancement.
